Yes, it’s vinyl, hum scratches and all. I do not know the playlist as Lester Temple selected the songs for me to mix into, key mixing was not part of the mix so some not so pleasant sounds my occur. It is just something different, 2 mixes at different times put into 1. long layovers with a lot of riding the beat, so yeah, it goes off at times but i’ll get ya back there. Just a lot of experimentation, sharing to share unplanned mixing of music i don’t know or have never heard. Not even sure what category to put it in.

Set 027 Radio Pop Rock in the mix 70s 80s
After going through some old cassettes and ratty sounding one contained a 70’s mix tape… the kind where you did your best to hold down the little red button and turn the knob to play as the built in microphone recorded from a speaker nearby… turning to stop in time to cut off the radio station call letters being said. I went through the tape and hear K and a CLIck many times but one spot had the KFRC complete, a now no longer san francisco AM radio station from my childhood. Hearing the songs I decided to do a kind of tribute mix to that music, adding a few that were a bit ‘newer’. 2 hours of 70s and early 80s Radio Pop Rock. A new mix tape, in the mix.

Event 2019-09-07 Pride Night Dance at Timberline
The Pride Night Dance for Russian River Pride 2019 at Timberline in Guerneville. This was a strange night where the song selections at the beginnings are feelers for what direction to go in… goes into the 80s (rock of the 80s) higher beat per minute classics up to about 190 beat per minute… the stuff that doesn’t often get heard or played because of the speed. Then after into a bunch of lower beat 90s to new way overlayed random song selections, yes some out of key but well, bummer on that but it was great fun.
